Dan (Ruiting) Dai
Welcome to my site!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in accounting at Yale School of Management. I am on the 2021-2022 job market. I will be available for interviews at the 2021 Miami Rookie Camp.
My research interests include Financial Reporting and Disclosure, Accounting Accruals, ESG Disclosure, and Machine Learning. In my job market paper, I build disclosure-based measures of new products and examine whether firms use new product releases to deter market entry.
Prior to joining Yale, I earned a Master of Accounting from The Ohio State University, a Master of Public Policy from The University of Chicago, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. I also worked as an auditor for KPMG from 2012 to 2013.
